Who's in the room
About 20 people. All of them starting the same night as you.
What happens on the night
- 1You pair up straight away and start on the basic step, the side basic and your first right turn
- 2Each one gets drilled on its own, and everyone gets it wrong a few times first
- 3You rotate partners very regularly, so you dance with everyone in the room
- 4By the end of the hour those steps go together into a short routine
- 5Then teaching stops and the room becomes half an hour of social practice, and you can stay for all of it
