How a Soy course works

One level, one month.

No membership and no lock-in. You join a course, you dance it with the same group for four or five weeks, and then you decide again.

Pick your level

Read what each level gets you to. Still unsure after that, we'll place you.

Learn it for a month

Four or five weekly sessions with the same group, so week two builds on week one. We balance leads and follows in every course.

Step up, or stay and sharpen

Move up, repeat to polish, or add a second course, in one confirmation and one payment.

The perfect place to start. You will build clean on2 timing and your first vocabulary of partner moves, from the basic step to your first turns and the cross body lead. No partner and no experience needed.

Beyond the seven

Three courses that aren't a level.

Styling runs alongside the ladder, not instead of it. Take one on its own, or add it to the level you are already dancing.

Femme styling

Opening this season

Solo work, no partnerwork: Femme styling fundamentals for footwork and arm styling, and Advanced femme styling, a routine to perform. Led by Yimini.

Open to any level. Fundamentals suits you from around Intermediate, the advanced routine assumes a few years.

Men's styling

Opening this season

Cao An's own way of moving, broken down and taught. Shines, body movement, spins and the small details that make a dancer look like themselves rather than like a diagram.

For upper intermediates and up. You will want solid on2 timing and a few shines already in your body.
